COMPANION POEM

The Poet Mr Fab

Learning to fly through art and soul
Dancing in beauty, pain, and strife
Brisk in gait or a leisurely stroll
Masked in fate, the face of life

Step by step, the cadence flows
Through wind of road and rock of ground
Paths unknown as journey grows
For letting go, at last we’re found.

Contrast hues in shades of sky,
Where flowers bloom, and beauty clings.
What once was ground, I now defy
For I have wings, I rise, I sing.

Beyond the earth, beyond the weight,
With wings I soar, time is no more.
The splashes of life rejuvenate
So feet, what do I need you for?
