The Poet Mr Fab

Many ways up the mountain,
However what is faith?
With all sorts of doctrines spoutin,
Where do we find grace?

For hope is not a strategy
Nor mental ascent… its connect
To break through its opacity
Replacing a word with expect

For like a ship with its rudder
However small it still leads
The tongue and what’s uttered
What you feed it will breed

What thoughts do you let reign?
And in which do you address
Within your words is your domain
So why not choose to say blessed

Whatever cards they are dealt
You can play or let faith revivify
For within in his hands I have felt
“Excuse me while I kiss the sky”
